All About The Tunic

Floral Slinky Tunic Tee - Miss Selfridge
Bracelet - Jon Richard
Rings - Topshop
Boots - Topshop

So I have to be honest here and say I'm not entirely sure if this is meant to be worn as a t-shirt or as dress...but I'm going for the dress option because I'm only little and it comes to my knees! I think, if you're Petite, it's ok to wear t-shirts as dresses right? Plus this has the word 'Tunic' in it somewhere, so I don't feel too bad. To be honest I think it could easily be worn both ways, and I'll definitely be wearing it with leggings or jeans in the future, but I thought it was so lovely on it's own and fancied just wearing it as a dress!

I love floral prints at the moment, in fact all prints, and always find my eyes wandering to the lively patterns that are around in the shops and online right now. I do think some floral prints can be pretty garish, and not really my thing, but I absolutely love this print because of the colour scheme. The colours are all pale or or pink, so you can see lots of light green, white and pink - and I really love how it contrasts with the black back! I think it's really unusual and one of my favourite buys recently :-) It goes perfectly with a black jacket or blazer.

It's definitely a little cold outside for short sleeves, but it's fine for wearing indoors (I braved the cold for these photos) and you can always layer up. Whilst I do love my dark colours, it's so nice to have a splash of colour on a cold Winter day and you get the best of both worlds really with the dress, because the back is black. I think I'd definitely wear it in different ways for different occasions, perhaps with a blazer for smart, or jeans and chunky cardigan for casual! My cat's stayed out of my photos this time too...perhaps they didn't like the tunic?!
