So here is part two of last weekends outdoor adventure! Levington Marina is so pretty, so a little wander along the pontoon was compulsory (looking at all the stunning yachts which we can't afford, sob). Keeping warm on this bit of the outing was my amazing Boxy Faux Fur Gilet from Topshop! I've been spying on the faux fur gilets for ages but have been trying to resist, Topshop have an amazing selection with options in grey, white and black of course. I honestly went in last week to just grab a scarf and afew bits...but I came out with this. Ooops. What can I say, I'm just a bit of liability when shopping. I definitely think it was worth it though, I do love the faux-fur look because I think, no matter how scruffy the outfit your wearing, a splash of faux fur just livens it up instantly! Plus this gilet is lovely and soft...how could I have resisted?
This is a favourite jumper from Zara about two years ago and I haven't found one to compete with it yet. There's something about the style, length and fit which makes it a go-to item for me if in doubt about what to wear, it's so comfy, but pretty too, and I've lost count of how many times I've worn it. I really like the contrast between the white jumper and black faux fur gilet! The leopard print scarf adds a nice bit of colour too, I'm definitely all about livening relatively plain outfits up with accessories. Of course, my best accessory is Nick, who accompanied me on this trip and we actually managed to get a photograph of ourselves for once! Despite being together for well over a year, we really don't have many photos! We've definitely been a bit useless on that front until now...I've got a decent camera finally, so there are no excuses!
Then, naturally, after a cold walk, you need food...so we created ourselves the most amazing pizza ever. I'll always take eating in over going out, I do like going out but sometimes you can't beat your own home and your own cooking for relaxation! This pizza was honestly the best ever though, I'm definitely not just saying that (we've definitely had plenty of average pizzas in the past, but this was one amazing creation - see below). Throw on some mozzarella, goats cheese, ham, salami, spiced chicken and some other bits which I've forgotten, you get one amazing pizza! Diet well and truly broken, but definitely worth it!
Dreaming of this pizza forever!!
