Wisteria Lane

Jacket - Red Herring
Dress - ASOS
Handbag - Jasper Conran
Heels - Miss KG

Hope everyone had a good weekend? They do go so fast! I decided to experiment with some older clothes this weekend, I'm trying not to go too wild with new purchases at the moment so I'm looking deeper into my wardrobe for items I can mix and match. This ASOS dress was a favourite of mine last year, I love the tight bodice with the floaty skirt part - it's really great for a night out, but could actually be worn as a summer dress with a jacket! I love the pattern on this particular jacket, it's lovely and lightweight and perfect if you need to add some life to an outfit! The bag is also my only designer purchase (a Debenhams sale bargain), it's one of those bags I almost don't dare to use in case I get it messed up...but then again, whats the point in having it if you aren't going to use it? So I pick it's outings wisely! The garden is also looking super pretty at the moment, I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can spend more time outside! :-)

Floral Swing Dress

Hat - Jacques Vert
Boots - Faith

Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend! I can't believe four days went so quickly! The weather wasn't too horrific where I was either, so that was something! Picking up on the whole Spring/Summer vibe, you can't fail to feel a bit brighter in a dress like this. This is a little Red Label floral number - I absolutely love swing dresses, they are literally so comfy and actually, with a pattern like this, pretty effortless to style as the dress does all the work for you. All it really needs is a hat and heels! Red Label definitely do some gorgeous dresses, so I would really recommend a browse on their site :-)

All Kinds Of Colour

Leggings - ASOS
Heels - Faith
Necklace - Vintage

There's literally all kinds of colour going on in this outfit! This top from Topshop is one I've been after for ages, and after several weeks of dithering, I finally bought it with my Christmas vouchers (how did I manage to not spend them for 4 months?) Anyway, it's a gorgeous summer top, I always prefer longer sleeves so this is perfect for me and it's a lovely light colour - ideal for work or going out, whatever you want really! I was also lucky enough to receive this pretty iPhone case from Iconemesis, I really love the pattern and it's nice to add a bit of life to my phone...and now it'll never get lost if I put it down next to someone elses!

In other news, I think everyone knows that the Company Style Blogger Awards are up and running! I've had the most amazing blogging experience since starting StylaPetite last July and it would be absolutely incredible if any of you wanted to nominate me for 'Best Personal Style Blog - Newcomer (Less Than One Year Blogging). I think awards like this are so important because it really inspires people, not just dedicated bloggers, but girls who need that final push to start a blog themselves! So if a Petite blogger can have some success, wouldn't it be amazing to show that anyone can start a blog, and that it's ok to be a little bit different :-) You can click here & a nomination would mean the world!

Beige & Simple

Bag - Accessorize
Boots - Faith
Bracelet - River Island

There is a bit of an H&M vibe going on in this outfit - I spent far too long in there last weekend and came out with some real finds! I think everyone seems to have a pair of beige jeans or trousers right now don't they? I definitely wasn't sure about them, or if it was a colour that could ever flatter my leg shape, but I actually really like this pair! They're stretchy, summery and comfortable...and worn with heels, I don't think they're too terrible. It's definitely nice to have a splash of colour, normally I resign myself to black jeans or leggings, so its good to have a change! The H&M top is also a new favourite, considering my love for all things black and floaty. It's nice to keep things simple sometimes and I think this outfit is literally just beige and simple! Hope everyones having a good week so far and looking forward the 4-day weekend!

Floral Dress

Clutch Bag - Accessorize
Heels - Dorothy Perkins

Happy Sunday! Hope everyone's had a good weekend - I can't believe how quickly they go though! The weather today has also been pretty amazing where I am and I'm definitely excited by the fact that they've said next weekend the temperature is going to be hotter than in Greece right now...if so, excellent! So whilst on the theme of summer, this is an absolutely gorgeous dress from Fashion Union which is literally perfect for hot weather. Not only is it bright and bold, but the material is soft and cooling and it swirls happily around my knees when I walk. It's just the kind of dress I'd love to wear abroad in insane heat, but at the same time, it would do for hot day in England or even a summer party! Whilst on the bright colour road, I thought my bright blue Dorothy Perkins heels would be ideal for this dress...I haven't actually worn these that much but they really are a stunning colour!

Pale Pink

Skirt - Miss Selfridge
Handbag - Accessorize

I have to say that I'm absolutely loving everything in New Look right now. I went in the other day and have never found so many lovely things - this top being a brand new favourite at only £12.99! I absolutely love the style and fit, plus the colour is gorgeous and I've actually bought it in black and pale blue! Oops. What can I say, when you find a style you love, you have to snap it up! I also love plain fitted tops because they're so easy to pair with skirts or trousers, this dogtooth skirt is an old favourite but great for adding some life into an outfit! Hope everyone's had a good week so far, personally I am looking forward to the weekend and sleeping for most of it - so tired at the moment!
