Sleeveless Waterfall

So I am seriously loving Boohoo at the moment! I pretty much go on there everyday hunting for new bits...and it's so epic that they have a Petite section. These white Petite jeans were an absolute super-buy, they fit really well, they're comfy and just the right thickness to make white 'wearable', if you know what I mean.

And then of course can we spend a few minutes on the sleeveless waterfall coat (also from Boohoo) - I love this so much! It's absolutely perfect for this awkward time of year when the weather keeps changing its mind and it's not quiiiite cold enough for the new Winter coat. They do it in black too, hmm :-)

I'm definitely a big fan of this outfit, I'm having a bit of a style re-vamp at the moment so it's definitely an exciting time! I've also FINALLY got snapchat, so for any of you snapchat fans, you can follow my daily escapades with the username 'StylaPetite' - see you there!!

Candyfloss

I think this has to be one of my favourite outfits for absolutely ages! Firstly, the bag! Obviously there is no way I'm buying a real Chloe bag (much as I'd love to) so I did some scouring for the perfect replica. I actually found this bag on the lovely Laura's blog - The Pixie Cut and had to buy it through Yesstyle. You have to wait about 7 days for shipping, but honestly, it's such a lovely bag and definitely one of the best 'fakes' I've seen to date!

I'm also obsessed with these lace up heels, and any heel that looks like this! This pair are Missguided and oh so pretty. I really don't care that it's getting too cold for open toed shoes, these are getting worn alllll Winter! Also I did really well in the Boohoo sale last week with these Petite jeans and white sleeveless jacket. How satisfying is sale shopping? I'm normally useless with bargains but for once I didn't do too badly.

In other news, I don't have much to report, I'm just working and blogging and plotting some really exciting collaborations for October! Watch this space :-)

A/W Boot Wishlist

Autumn/Winter onset has many, many advantages - and one of these is shopping for new Winter boots! I'm obsessed with coats and boots in equal amounts, and I've honestly spent a ridiculous number of hours recently browsing the brand new boots that have been popping up online. It's all about the grey, the knee-boot and the buckles this year it would seem!

I'm a big believer in 'investing' when it comes to boots. If you're going to be wearing them all season, you want them to be resilient, pretty and stylish in equal measure. You also need them to be comfortable and the fit is essential. That's why I tend to head to a few tried and trusted brands to boot-shop.

One of these is Jones Bootmaker which I have loved for years for ladies boots. You just know that you're guaranteed incredible quality - I've probably spent a bit too long the website perusing the boots, so I thought I'd compile a little wishlist of the boots I would absolutely love to own!!

Ladies Boots - Jones

I think these grey knee boots have to be the ultimate dream. I have been searching for the perfect pair of grey knee-highs for AGES...and these are just gorgeous. They also come in black too if you're not a grey fan.

You can't beat a pair of stylish but practical leather ankle boots. Every year I always have to go for a new pair of low heeled black ankle boots for day-to-day running around, for walking and driving I really can't deal with a heel for driving or wearing all day, so this is the kind of size I would go for!

Brown leather ankle boots - how pretty are these? I never used to be a brown boot fan but now I absolutely love them, they are so on trend and go perfectly with casual jeans or jazzed up in the evening for smarter occasions! I really need these in my life, and again, they come in black too!

Practical and durable boots are super useful (and essential) when the weather turns really nasty. I've recently discovered Reiker Boots - which are a life saver when things get cold and icy. Shoetique do a really cool range of these, so I'd definitely suggest a browse and I've popped my favourites in this post.

These have a fleece lining!! How awesome is that?! These would keep your feet and calves toasty warm on cold days, plus they are stylish too (which is always a must for me.) Perfect to wear with skinny jeans or a skirt too!

I seriously love these! The stunning brown leather upper look amazing and oozes quality and the buckle feature on the side looks gorgeous.

Happy shopping :-)

Showstopper Style Challenge with M&Co

So what do M&Co and The Great British Bake-Off have in common?! Answer is...Mary Berry!! Yes, THE Mary Berry wore one of the gorgeous M&Co jackets in one of the Bake Off episodes a couple of weeks ago. Now, I am a huge, huge Bake Off fan and have watched it for years, so when M&Co got in touch to see if I wanted to take part in their Showstopper Style Challenge (all Bake Off fans will understand this), obviously I said yes!

As Mary Berry herself made their jackets famous, it was amazing to be able select an item to style up for the style challenge! I went for this stunning Petite Short Textured Jacket in 'Blush' - which proved to be a seriously good choice. I love the cut, the fit and the texture - plus being designed for Petites, I didn't have any issues with sizing. Definitely worth checking out the M&Co Petite section to any of my Petite readers!

The gorgeous blush colour of the jacket goes really well with my LilyLulu Fashion lace playsuit, it's the ideal colour scheme for a summer tea party - or even the big final tea party the Bake Off hosts when they crown the winner! Hope you like my Showstopper style...will you be tuning into the #GBBO tonight?

Outfit: Jacket - M&Co*, Playsuit - LilyLulu*, Rings - Topshop

Evening Dresses with Sherry London

So at this time of year when summer disappears and autumn comes creeping in, I always end up turning my attention to pretty evening wear! Be it cocktail dresses or evening dresses, I love looking online at all the options out there...because party season is just around the corner!! So I've teamed up with Sherry London to bring you my top picks from their gorgeous collection of evening and cocktail dresses, just in case you're getting into the party mood early and after that dream dress.

So these first two are my absolute favourites. This A Line cocktail dress is just beautiful: I really love this cut of dress, the fit and flare thing is always great for me as washboard abs is probably never going to me an option for me! So this flatters the waist and the stomach, which is always a bonus. I love the detailing too, plus you can beat black and white for a bit of elegance. The Lace Jewel cocktail dress is also stunning - it's actually another one of those styles which really flatters the tummy because of the cut (it's not as tight as it looks) it's just suitably fitted. You'd definitely feel glamourous in this little number.

I LOVE this backless cocktail dress. I think out of the lot, this is definitely the most 'me' - somehow I always end up in black, but who cares, it's the colour I'm most confident in - and this is absolutely the dress I'd pick. I love the cut of the back (definitely one to wear with your hair up - you can see more on the website) and the subtle sparkly detailing. Ultimate christmas party dress, yes?

How gorgeous is this one? I LOVE the colour and the gorgeous statement detailing of this chiffon evening dress - you would definitely wow the crowd in this one, plus I always love things that sparkles!

Now this gorgeous evening dress is definitely for something a bit more formal - or out there! I very rarely ever have an occasion to wear something like this, but if I had the chance I would love to wear something like this floor length evening dress. Firstly, I really love the cut of the upper body - this is definitely a little revealing but that absolutely works sometimes, plus the sophisticated length makes it super stunning. The colour and soft tones are so elegant too...can someone take me to somewhere where this is suitable to wear?

Lastly, this is chiffon number is the ultimate pretty cocktail dress! White with glittery gold detail...I definitely think you'd feel fab in this dress. Shake off any nerves over wearing white and this is a showstopper!

Pink Beach

So last weekend I went to Aldeburgh for the day, probably my last beach day of the year! It was lovely and sunny, but there was definitely a chill in the year...which can only mean it's September! We had a great time pottering around on the beach and looking at all the pretty little houses, you can see a couple of them over on my instagram.

I also took the chance to wear my Boohoo blush belted duster coat which I absolutely love (it's in the sale at the moment in black, pink and and yellow at the moment!). This is also the last time you'll ever see the faithful Miss Selfridge handbag because the strap finally broke off yesterday. I've had it for 5 years, so to be fair it's done me well. To make up for it, I've got these fab sunglasses from River Island...

Sparkles

Top - Missi Clothing*, Trousers - River Island, Heels - Wallis*

I love sparkles and sequins and all things glittery/shiny...so this top is perfect for me. The plus side of the weather going cold and summer ending is that we're headed ever closer to Christmas (favourite time of year) and that is a free excuse to wear as many sequins as you want. Within reason of course!

So this top from Missi Clothing is a winner, it works perfectly with a skirt or trousers and is so glitzy that you really don't need much else to accompany it...opting for simple is what I would always advise. They also do this top in black too, so I may have to go there...watch this space!

Jumpsuit & Heels

Jumpsuit - Missi Clothing*, Coat - H&M, Heels - Miss KG

As a Petite, I've always found jumpsuits really hard to wear! I love them, but 9 times out of 10 they are always too long! This Missi Clothing number on the other hand, actually fits perfectly. I definitely need to get some more jumpsuits into my wardrobe. I love the fit of this one, and the lace detailing...plus black and white combo's are always a favourite of mine!

This is also the first outfit post I've taken in my bedroom since it was re-decorated and I'm pretty pleased with how the whole room is looking. I actually snapped away a bit of a wardrobe/bedroom type post as well today, so that will be up soon - I may as well photo it all whilst it's fresh and before I mess it up.
