Christmas Giveaway | Win *TWO* Vince Camuto Fragrances

So it's Christmas, and I feel like it's time to say thank you to everyone who has read my posts, followed my social media, left me lovely comments and followed me on my blogging journey for another year!

You may have seen from my last post that I recently teamed up with Debenhams to work on some Christmas gift guides. They introduced me to the Vince Camuto fragrances and I absolutely fell in love with them. I received the Amore scent for females and it's absolutely beautiful, the bottle is to die for and it's a really unique perfume.

So I felt like this would be the ideal thing to offer as a prize for a Christmas giveaway. PLUS Debenhams have offered the male fragrance too - so if you win, you will win the HIS and the HERS fragrance!

So if you'd like to enter, check out the box below and good luck! I'll be announcing the winner on the 30th December, so it'll be a late Xmas gift for whoever wins!

Christmas Gifts For Him | *WIN* A £100 Prize

I think we all know how difficult shopping for men can be. Or shopping for your boyfriend/girlfriend/significant other in general. Especially when you have a very fussy person on your hands! So Nick (Blomfield Man & Co) and I have teamed up with Debenhams to bring you a set of Christmas Gift Guides for Him and for Her (all gifts have been approved of by each other!)

You can check out Nick's Gift Guide For Her here.

Let's start off with manly Accessories. Firstly, you can't beat a unique fragrance and go for something a bit different, which is why I picked out the amazing Vince Camuto fragrance for Nick. This is a Debenhams exclusive and an insanely amazing scent! He loves it, so that bodes well!

You also can't go wrong with things like wallets and watches (perhaps for men, these are like shoes and handbags for girls?) I thought this Hammond & Co Watch would work really well, along with this stylish Jasper Conran Wallet!

Then we have the obligatory Winter clothes! You can't go wrong with a Christmas jumper surely?? Or a Christmas bobble hat...if it's the only time of the year you'll get him into something cute or festive, you may as well make the most of it at Christmas time.

I love tartan scarves and luckily Nick does too, so I thought this Hammond & Co tartan scarf would be ideal! Team it with a smart navy jumper like this one from Mantaray and you're good to go!

3. Monster iSport In-Ear Headphone

Men do love their gadgets and grooming bits. To kick off (for whilst he's grooming himself) why not invest in a dressing gown for him to relax in? There's nothing old-man-ish about this stylish black Jasper Conran dressing gown!

I thought this BaByliss grooming kit would also be ideal. Keep that beard and those whiskers in check!

And of course, you can't go wrong with some brand spanking new earphones. Whether he's plugged in whilst chilling out or using them for running, this Monster iSport pair are a fab option.

Debehams have some amazing gift guides to help you out online if you've found this helpful  - you can check these out here :-)

So now you've read the gift guide, how do you feel about winning a little Him & Her's gift? You can win the chance to win a HIS and HERS version of the Vince Camuto fragrance.

How To Style A Long Coat With Ankle Boots

I've always loved long coats, but I've also always found them difficult to style (being 5ft really doesn't help me here). So here are my two simple ways to style a long coat if you're Petite.

a.) Go for a straight, plain coat (no garish patterns or bulky fur) and b.) wear a heeled boot/shoe to give you height.

A streamlined coat slims your figure, when you're a small lady you really don't need a great bulky coat, it just makes you look short and dumpy. I absolutely love this navy coat from Missguided and now I've found a long, Petite-friendly coat, I don't think I'll be taking it off anytime soon.

Also these boots!! How gorgeous are these? I have been looking for a style like this for absolutely ages and these are an amazing style steal from Online Avenue...Dior without the price tag :-) Not only are they super comfy and stylish, but I feel like they add an instant bit of glamour to an outfit.

All black with a flash of gold on the heel, you can choose material from faux suede, PU or lycra. What do you think?

Something I've been working a lot on recently is 'style steals'. I love designer items as much as everyone, but obviously I can't afford the price tags. So I've been doing my best online to find dupes and style steals to share with you (so we can all look designer without the dent in the bank account.)

Online Avenue pride themselves on delivering key catwalk looks and celebrity inspired women's fashion to their customers the second that trends hit. I'd seriously urge you to have a browse on this website, if you're anything like me, you'll find all sorts of designer dupes and style steals. It's my best find yet!

Styling The Double Grey Look

There is ALOT of grey going on on here at the moment! It has to be my favourite colour right now though...almost to the point of overdoing it.

But I personally don't see the harm in going all-out in a certain colour sometimes, plus I felt like I couldn't resist teaming my grey Roberto Vianni boots with this grey Missguided coat.

This has to be one of my favourite styles of coat, it's a perfect Petite fit (even though its not from the Petite section) and have to confess and say I've got one in camel and now grey...Missguided do a couple of other colours too, so if you're hunt for a Petite-fit coat, look no further!

Christmas Gift Guide For Him | with Debenhams

Shopping for the man in your life? To be honest, whether you're shopping for your boyfriend, your husband or your brother...man shopping can be hard!

So I've teamed up with Debenhams, and my partner in crime (Nick) to bring you a gift guide with a liiiiittle bit of a difference. Instead of me harping on about products that I THINK a man would like, we've gone for some options that actually work.

Plus, by roping Nick into a photo session, you can see how the items actually look on a living breathing male.

So here is Nick, wriggling out of his jacket and looking like he wants to make a break for the hills. Probably because I've been making him stand still in the cold while I snap some gorgeous gift pieces to show you.

Gift Suggestion Number 1: Waistcoats

Probably wouldn't be your first thought when you're thinking up a Christmas present. But I do love a man in a waistcoat and if you think about it, it's a bit easier than buying a jacket or shirt...there isn't as much to go wrong in terms of arm length and collar length etc. Nick is sporting the John Rocha light grey linen blend waistcoat which I think looks pretty good! It's something a bit different which he could wear with jeans, or with smarter trousers, so quite a versatile piece (and something he might not have thought of himself).

Gift Suggestion Number Two: Pocket Squares

Say whaaaat? Bare with me on this one. Nothing screams English gentleman more than a matching pocket square and tie. So maybe you haven't seen a guy wear one for years or since the last old film you watch, but I think they look amazing and are a really nice little gift to someone who likes dressing up and looking smart. Luckily for me, Nick likes both. Phew. This is a beautifully textured Pocket Square from Hammond & Co

Gift Suggestion Number Three: Ties

So here is the whole thing in action. See what I mean? Plus ties make great presents. You can go smart, or go casual...you can even go silly (judge it on the type of man you're dealing with.) This is the geometric tie from Hammond & Co again. With or without the Pocket Square, if you're looking for a little extra, then a tie is a safe bet!

Gift Suggestion Four - Cufflinks

A little 'Did You Know' from Nick: Cufflinks first appeared in the 1600s but did not actually become common place until circa 1880.The interesting thing is that humans (and men) have actually been wearing woven fabric shirt garments since as early as 5000 BC – seems ridiculous to me that we only cottoned (forgive the pun) onto shirt-related luxuries in the late 18thC and not before – these wonderful statement pieces literally change the entire look and feel of a shirt and ultimately your outfit. Thankfully, we evolved from the 17thC ribbon cufflink to include gems and precious metals in a range of styles, shapes and fancy looks!

Cufflinks are another epic choice that work amazingly well as a Christmas present. Unless the man in question has a specially engraved pair of cufflinks that he never takes off...you should be safe. I love how Cufflinks bring that little bit extra to a shirt and there are so many designs and patterns to choose from. These are the Thomas Nash engraved stone cufflinks  - ideal!! Plus you've got it from the horses mouth up there - he likes!

Gift Suggestion Five - Braces

Braces might be for the more quirky dresser. Nick being one of these. There's something fun about braces though and if you have more of a dapper dresser on your hands, then this is the perfect gift idea. I do love this pair, here he's wearing the Osborne beige braces which we both agree we love!

And if you're still struggling for ideas, remember that Debenhams have some tailored gift guides on their website as part of the #FoundIt campaign - so definitely worth checking those out here

Beauty Secrets To Keep In Mind For The New Year | with Amy Goldsmith

It is that time of the year when we make promises to ourselves that we will get rid of all the bad habits and take up new, better and healthier ones. Why not reserve a few New Year’s resolutions for a more beautiful 2016? If you do not have any ideas, here are our 5 beauty resolutions that we are intending to keep.

1. Switch to Organic Cosmetics

Like most people, you are probably familiar with the health and beauty benefits of organic cosmetics. Nonetheless, the price still diverts many people from switching to natural skin care. The truth is that organic products are more effective than the conventional ones, and thus last longer. Secondly, you do not need to change your entire skincare and makeup set at once. Start eliminating your old products one by one, starting from those that stay on your skin the longest and are most absorbent, such as face moisturizers, or body lotions. As far as the choice of brands are concerned, choose a reliable brand. My absolute favourite brand is 100% pure who has a big variety of organic eye and face makeup.

2. Cleanse Every Day

No matter how late you get home, or how tired you are, cleansing your face every night is a necessity, not an option. Not doing it could make some irreparable damages to your skin. The skin repairs itself at night, and if we leave germs and dirt to build up, they will clog the pores, leading to acne, which will leave scars. Makeup exposes your skin to free radicals that destroy collagen and cause the skin to age faster. So, forget about excuses such as, ‘I’m wearing only mascara’. If the bathroom really seems miles and miles away, keep a pack of cleansing wipes in your nightstand to make sure you never skip to take the makeup off.

3. Broaden Your Scent Horizons

There is no better way to start a new season than with a new fragrance. This season, as usual, there are many perky floral and fruity notes, but this is not all the season has to offer. Make a resolution to try something exotic and unexpected. Try the sexy women scents with a touch of men’s colognes, like Halle Berry Closer or Armani Acqua di Gioia. Jo Malone’s Wood Sage & Sea Salt brings us the smell of ocean at a beach cottage, while L'Artisan Parfumeur Noir Exquis smells like a cup of black coffee on an old chestnut wood porch. Think citrus fruits, pink pepper and tomato leaves cannot be combined? Think again. Yves Saint Laurent’s Paris Rebel Collector is a perfect blend of these refreshing notes.

4. Wear SPF Every Day

Even on an overcast day, the ultraviolet rays penetrate through the clouds and can damage your skin. Protect yourself every day to reduce the risk of skin cancer and sunburns. The reasons are not only health related. Did you know that most of the aging process is actually propelled by the hours spent in the sun? Some dermatologists estimate that as much as 90 percent of visible aging is caused by exposure to sun. Wearing sunscreen daily will prolong the youth of your skin and give it a natural glow.

5. Try a Skin Brush

Skin brushes do not sound very gentle when, in fact, they are softer than some scrubs and peels. Advocates of dry brushing claim that it stimulates the lymph system, increases circulation, and helps the skin get rid of toxins. Consequently, the skin becomes softer, and firmer.
