Remember the log fire in one of my posts last week? Well here are the logs that we burn on it! Would you believe that some of these logs are from the trees blown down in the 1987 storm? Incredible! This is my Dad’s domain I must say, and it’s a rather spectacular log shed which I have absolutely nothing to do with…expect for a bit of casual posing in there now and again. I have been known to lug the odd barrow of logs up to the house…but that’s a very rare occurance. And I certainly don’t know how to use a chain-saw…so all in all, I’m a bit of a lazy lumberjack.
Outfit wise, another casual get up for the weekend! I love this bright red jumper from Topshop, it makes me feel rather festive and up-beat, it’s always nice to inject a bit of colour now and again. These are also a pair of much loved jeans from Topshop (last year) and they are unbelievably comfy. They’re a little bit long…but then if you’re wearing them with boots, it doesn’t really matter too much. I’ve had a real nightmare finding any jeans/trousers that actually fit me this year, being Petite is an absolute pain sometimes, makes my shopping life very difficult! So I’m digging out bits and bobs from last year…I suppose that will make my bank balance happy.
I mentioned that I’ve got a bit of an obsession with prints and patterns at the moment, hence the Topshop scarf. I really love it and tend to put it with everything these days, it just livens up an outfit really and adds a bit of detail. Perhaps this isn’t really the most sensible ensemble for the garden – or the woodshed – pale jeans and mud don’t really go too well…I should have worn my Wellies really instead of subjecting my poor Uggs to trial and torture in the dirt. Mind you, they are from 2008 and on their last legs…so I might as well look stylish if I’m lurking around in the woodshed.
