Wrapping Up

Stole – Zara

Coat – Warehouse

Bag – Osprey

Boots – Kurt Geiger

Leggings – Topshop

So this is my first outfit post with the pictures taken by my amazing new camera! I honestly can’t believe I have gone so long without out an SLR…the quality is just so much better, and honestly this camera and I can’t be parted at the moment, I just want to photograph everything right now! I feel like from now on, you’ll actually be able to see the detail on my clothes and beauty products, it was so difficult to get a decent picture with my iphone. I can’t wait to get going more with my photography, I never realised I’d get so into it, but with the right tools, it can be so much fun!

I really love this outfit, if we’ve got to have Winter, we might as well buy nice coats and scarves to makes us look more presentable during it! I’ve featured this coat from Warehouse before, and it’s a big change for me coat-wise, because I normally go for black coats…this year I felt it was time for a change. It goes really well with this stole from Zara! I love all things Zara, but unfortunately I don’t have a store near me, so I have to rely on the website…always risky because you never know how things are going to turn out. This stole is actually a hell of a lot bigger than I thought it would be and at first I thought it would swamp me, but when I put it on it was absolutely fine and looks fantastic with a winter coat or over a jumper.

I’ve teamed this with my beloved knee boots and Osprey bag, plus some amazing Osprey gloves that I got as a birthday present. I do love a pair of leather gloves, I had an amazing pair of Jasper Conran’s last year (another present I must add) but I went and lost one on a night out…so these are my replacements. I am determined not to lose them, I do have a terrible track record with gloves…but hopefully these will stay by my side all season!

I love the stole on you. It looks so warm & cozy.

BTW your photos look amazing! One thing I love about DLSR cameras is the ability to set the camera to to take lots of photos all in one go. No more running to the camera and back again to take photos.

One issue I still have is with lighting which I've not mastered yet. As a result, I find that outdoor photos are the best.

thank you carol! it's so nice to have a decent camera at last – it's such a revelation! I still haven't fully got to grips with it yet – and I do agree, figuring out the lighting is definitely tricky – we will get there soon though! 🙂 xxx
